Embedded PC measures 4.9 ¥ 4.5 in. Designed for embedded control applications, the MicroPC 5066 is a Pentium or 486-class PC that can be installed in passive ISA backplanes. The 5066 has a number of protective devices that help prevent accidental damage during system development. These include serial ports that exceed IEC 1000 level ESD protection, serial-port backdrive protection, parallel-port backdrive protection, opto-isolated interrupt inputs, and over and reverse- voltage protection for the 5-V power bus. Other features include DOS 6.22 in ROM, a built-in math coprocessor, a watchdog timer, diagnostic software, and Windows/NT and UNIX OS compatibility.
