In addition to promoting its ViewPoint EyeTracker software, the Arrington Research (Mesa, AZ) Web site contains a ViewPointBook, which includes 45 pages of eye-tracking theory, comparisons of methods, and principles of operation. Requiring a Macintosh computer with a video-input port and a video camera, the EyeTracker software features automatic calibration, automatic thresholding, and calculated 2-D gaze-position displays.
