Based on Microsoft Windows CE software, the NetSight series of vision engines can accelerate alignment and OCR vision processes by using a 300-MHz Pentium/MMX-compatible CPU, SVGA output, and keyboard and mouse ports. It contains a built-in frame grabber that can interface to four analog or digital camerasand offers 16 bits of digital I/O for controlling external processes. OEMs can choose from a range of distributed networking options, such as 100Base-T, Ethernet, RS-232/485, or TCP/IP.
