Laser operates in harsh areas
Providing 200 mW, the ZQ-200 laser is composed of an optical combination of three temperature-stabilized laser diodes that are focused to a customer-defined distance. The laser diodes are based on GaN-semiconductor technology and have been developed for CW operation, high output power, and durability. The ZQ-200 operates in the red wavelength range at 643 nm, but the wavelength can be shifted by changing temperature in steps of 0.05°C. It comes in a robust, compact housing developed to ensure its use in harsh environments.

Cameras transmit images over Profinet
Simatic VS720A camera series has a Profinet connection for industrial image processing. The cameras possess improved image-recording features, a larger memory to accommodate more inspection programs and data, and a new processor architecture for shorter inspection times. Production data and image data of the cameras are transferred to an automation system or a human machine interfacing system simultaneously and deterministically via the Profinet connection using TCP/IP. The cameras are scalable with regard to performance, resolution, and color or monochrome image processing. The color version offers a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and a frame rate of 30 frames/s.

System measures spectral response
Spectral Test and Calibration Station is designed and built to measure or test spectral response at a variety of discrete wavelengths over a designated spectral range. The spectral range is determined by light sources, monochromator design, gratings, detectors, and optical coatings. Delivery of the discrete monochromatic light to an integrating sphere, collimator/telescope, or other relay or instrument optics is determined by user requirements. The system has four grating turrets for wide wavelength range, fast f/4 aperture ratio, and built-in light sources.

Camera performs in harsh areas
RMV camera line uses industrial-rated components, mil-spec design techniques, and a unique case to deliver an extended operating temperature range that has been tested from -40˚C to +85˚C for operation in harsh environments. The RMV camera line also incorporates noise performance improvements that decrease noise by a factor of 2X. The camera line incorporates interline transfer CCDs ranging in resolution formats of 2 to 16 million pixels.

GigE Vision camera works in color
The runner camera series features seven new linescan models with either 1024 or 2098 pixels and a range of line rates up to 59 kHz. The premier member of the series is a trilinear CCD color linescan camera that employs the same sensor at the same speed as the L301kc, but has all of the advantages of a GigE Vision-based camera. Three independent CCD lines with 2098 pixels per line collect the color information at a 9.2-kHz line rate. Comes in compact, industrial housing with pylon software package.

FireWire camera family is modular
The six cameras in the Stingray family are equipped with a FireWire IEEE1394b interface and CCD sensors in color and monochrome, with resolutions from VGA up to 2 Mpixels. An optional version has a copper daisy-chain connection or 1X copper combined with 1X GOF connector (2X optical fiber on LCLC). The cameras include look-up tables, shading corrections, white balance, and 2X to 8x binning for enhanced photosensitivity. Grabber functions, including an internal memory and deferred transport mode, make the Stingray good for multicamera operations, while the sequence mode enables fast parameter changes.
