Camera Link frame grabber from Active Silicon operates at up to 85 MHz

Confirming to the latest Camera Link 2.0 specification, the FireBird 1xCLD-2PE4 Camera Link frame grabber from Active Silicon features both 80-bit modes: 8 bit 10-tap and 10 bit 8-tap modes – often referred to as Camera Link "Deca," at clock rates up to 85 MHz.

Conforming to the latest Camera Link 2.0 specification, the FireBird 1xCLD-2PE4 Camera Link frame grabber from Active Silicon features both 80-bit modes: 8 bit 10-tap and 10 bit 8-tap modes – often referred to as Camera Link "Deca," at clock rates up to 85 MHz. The Gen2 x4 PCIe bus can sustain a 1.7 Gbytes/s throughput and supports capture from two simultaneous Base Camera Link cameras, as well as single Base, Medium and Full configurations. Additionally Power over Camera Link is provided. The FireBird Camera Link frame grabbers feature a software development kit, while also providing a range of third-party software drivers for Cognex VisionPro, Common Vision Blox, StreamPix, and LabVIEW. The frame grabbers are supported under Linux, Mac OS X, and QNX, as well as Windows 32-bit and 64-bit.
