Featuring a 2 x 1.18 in (50.95 x 30 mm) size, the PIXCI EB1miniHframe grabber from EPIX is designed for space constrained applications, including embedded imaging. The PCI Express mini card frame grabber is available in full and half-length versions, and features a Base Camera Link connector and runs on the XCAP imaging software. XCAP supports ARM processors under Linux in addition to Windows and Linux support for I386 and X86_64 Intel processors. The frame grabber, which supports more than 1,000 different camera models—both area scan and line scan—also has 64-bit memory addressing, burst transfer at 250 megabytes/s, and 200 megabyte/s sustained data transfer. EPIX will showcase this frame grabber at Photonics West 2016 in San Francisco from February 16-18.
