At AUTOMATICA 2016, which will be held June 21-24 in Munich, Germany, MVTec will provide interactive demonstrations and applications of machine vision technology in automated product environments using the latest versions of tsHALCON and MERLIC machine vision software. HALCON version 12.0.2 has a number of new and improved features, including a more robust barcode identification tool, which allows the software to more reliably read barcodes even in significantly overexposed images in which the barcodes are only narrowly displayed. Additionally, MVTec’s latest version of MERLIC, MERLIC 2, features the MERLIC Engine interface, which enables users to create MERLIC applications using the intuitive MERLIC Backend and then directly load, parameterize, and execute them within their C++ or C# framework.
