Pleora introduces 10GigE and USB3 Vision network video engines

Pleora Technologies is expanding their suite of networked video connectivity products to include a GigE Vision IP engine which uses10 GigE Technology (the iPORT NTx-Ten), and a compact transmitter which enables rapid creation of USB3 Vision (the iPORT NTx-U3) compliant cameras. The iPORT NTx-Ten IP engine is a video transmitter which provides designers of industrial cameras and other imaging systems the ability to transmit images at over 8 Gbps. It is built on industry standard 10 GigE technology, and is suitable for use in inspection systems as well as medical imaging and military imaging applications. Pleora’s iPORT NTx-U3 embedded camera interface is a compact transmitter which enables the creation of USB3 Vision-compliant cameras and other imaging devices. It features a data transfer rate of 3 Gbps and is suitable for use in quality inspection, traffic, defense, medical, and security applications.
