Neousys Technology introduces host adapter cards for USB 3.0 cameras

Neousys Technology has released two new PCI Express USB 3.0 host adapter cards, the PCIe-USB380 and the PCIe-USB340, which are designed to work in vision systems in surveillance, industrial automation, production quality control, and other machine vision applications.

Neousys Technology has released two new PCI Express USB 3.0 host adapter cards, the PCIe-USB380 (Eight ports) and the PCIe-USB340 (Four ports). These cards feature an x4 PCI Express Gen2 interface with 2 GB/s total bandwidth, 4x NEC/Renesas_PD720202 USB host controllers, on-board 5VDC regulated power supply, and user-configurable 900mA and 1500mA current limit. In addition, the adapter cards feature a cable-lock for reliable connection, support Windows XP/7/8 and Linux, and are also compliant with USB 3.0 specification Rev. 1.0 and Intel xHCI specification Rev. 1.0. The PCIe-USB380 and PCIe-USB340 adapter cards are designed to work in industrial PCs/vision systems in surveillance, industrial automation, production quality control, and other machine vision applications.
