Matrox Imaging to offer free technical seminars during The Vision Show
MAY 27, 2008--Matrox Imaging (Dorval, QC, Canada;
www.matrox.com/imaging) will offer a series of free machine-vision seminars on June 10 and 11, 2008, during The Vision Show at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, MA, USA. The technical seminars will highlight the newest features of the Matrox Imaging Library 9.0 (MIL), the field-proven collection of software tools for developing industrial imaging applications. Seminar topics include how MIL 9 takes advantage of multicore CPU, GPU, and FPGA technology to offload and accelerate image processing, color analysis, and 3-D imaging.
Other seminars will demonstrate the ease of developing applications with the Matrox Design Assistant integrated development environment and Matrox Iris E-Series smart camera. Nonprogrammers will see how to set up image capture and perform location, measurement, reading, part identification, communication, and I/O operations within a single intuitive flowchart-based graphical user interface. Attendees will also have the opportunity to sit down with the technical staff and discuss their application requirements.
Attendees should register before the event. For more information and registration, please visit matroximaging.com/milseminar for MIL seminars and matroximaging.com/smartcamera for Matrox Iris E-series with Design Assistant seminars.
