Pleora announces GigE and USB 3.0 external frame grabbers
Pleora Technologies will showcase its new iPORT SB-GigE and iPORT SB-U3 external frame grabbers, along with its portfolio of video interface solutions, at SPIE Photonics West 2014 in San Francisco from February 1-6. The iPORT SB-GigE features 1 Gb/s data transfer rates with cabling distance of up to 100m, while the iPORT SB-U3 delivers 2 Gb/s data transfer rates with control over a USB 3.0 link. Pleora’s iPORT external frame grabbers transform Sony block cameras into GigE Vision or USB3 Vision cameras, enabling designers to reduce system complexity, simplify cabling, and user a broader selection of smaller form factor, lower-power computing platforms.
