Sensoray’s Model 2253P USB-compatible audio/video codec, which is powered from a single USB port, is capable of simultaneously producing two different video streams from its single composite input and sending the streams out over USB. The 2253P codec also performs as a decoder, converting compressed audio/video into standard analog video and audio signals, as well as offering closed-caption support for H.264 streams. The codec also features a GPS receiver and two incremental encoder interfaces accessible through two RJ-45 sockets. Each multifunction interface can be independently configured to operate as an incremental coder interface or as two digital inputs. The 2253P is suitable for use in video surveillance, video pipeline inspection, and radar processing applications.
