Braintech launches integrator partner program
MAY 13, 2009--Braintech (McLean, VA, USA; www.braintech.com) has launched an Integrator Partner Program (IPP), providing on-site technical training and sales support for its Vision Guided Robotics (VGR) software to enhance product sales through additional sales channels into multiple new markets and industries.
"We have designed our Integrator Partner Program based upon the philosophy of 'We're better together,'" Braintech CEO Rick Weidinger says. "Now that we are no longer exclusive to ABB, this is the first time the company has been able to implement a partnership program offering integration, functionality, and economies of scale to all of the major robot manufacturers and end-user customers. We will be focused on assisting our partners to win the business that they are bidding on and will use all of Braintech's technical knowledge to support them after the win."
Braintech IPP has two levels of membership -- Advantage Partner and Elite Partner -- and offers discounts to those partners on the company's eVisionFactory (eVF) software platform. License fees for eVF Developers' Licenses are also waived for Elite Partner IPP members. Additionally, minimum recurring monthly software license fees instead of upfront license payments will be offered to IPP members as a result of the hardship of current capital budgets.
IPP encompasses services such as training at the company's Pontiac, MI, technical center; access to technical software support; joint marketing efforts and co-branded marketing collateral; sales leads; and sales engineering expertise.
Braintech has established a goal to sign up to 20 partners by the end of the second quarter and to demonstrate the profitability that can be gained by working together. The company says additional benefits include market analysis, presentation materials, product demonstrations, return on investment templates and calculations, proposal templates, solution video clips, and value-based selling proposals.
R & E Automated Systems (sister company of DC Automation), Indicon Corp., Henshaw, HTE, ONYX Engineering, Leite Automation, Tech-ConAutomation, and YAC Robot Systems have become founding members of the IPP.
