FEBRUARY 11, 2009--Scorpion Vision Version 7.0 uses multithreading to speed up image processing, enabling multiple vision systems to be run on one computer. Configuration tools perform functions such as 2-D and 3-D pattern matching, template finding, 3-D measurements, blob analysis, morphology, metrology, calibration, color identification, shape sorting, OCR and OCV, bar code and data code reading, and polygon matching with subpixel accuracy. The software can be combined with smart cameras; digital cameras with USB, FireWire, and GigE interfaces; and 3-D image sensors.
