Adept signs new Preferred Packaging Partner

FEBRUARY 12, 2009--Adept Technology, a provider of intelligent vision-guided robotics and global robotics services, has signed Eagle Technologies Group as its newest Preferred Packaging Partner (PPP).

FEBRUARY 12, 2009--Adept Technology (Livermore, CA, USA; www.adept.com), a provider of intelligent vision-guided robotics and global robotics services, has signed Eagle Technologies Group (Bridgman, MI, USA; www.eagletechnologies.com) as its newest Preferred Packaging Partner (PPP). Adept and Eagle Technologies plan to actively work on advancing the capabilities and cost effectiveness of robotic packaging solutions.

"Our PPP program offers customers access to the most experienced automation packaging expertise available and Eagle Technologies' reputation and experience makes them a natural fit for the program," says John Dulchinos, president and CEO of Adept Technology.

The program, which began with an initial set of five providers of packaging systems, develops solutions around Adept's packaging product portfolio including ACE PackXpert, the company's new packaging automation software for the rapid development and deployment of packaging applications, and the Adept Quattro packaging robot.
