GigE Vision and USB3 Vision SDKs from A&B Software feature integrated H.264 web streamer
At SPIE Photonics West 2017, A&B Software will showcase its latest versions of ActiveGigE and ActiveUSB software development kits (SDK) with integrated RTSP transcoder allowing transmission of video to tablets and smartphones over Wi-Fi.
A&B Software’s ActiveGigE and ActiveUSB, the next generation of hardware-independent software development kits for GigE Vision and USB3 Vision cameras, provide developers and end-users with immediate access to multiple GigE and USB 3.0 cameras in a variety of programming environments including C++, C#, VB6, VB.NET, Delphi, Java, Python, Matlab, OpenCV, QT, LabView, GE Fanuc, Indusoft Studio. A key feature of the new releases is the RTSP web streamer which allows an end-user application to transcode GEV or U3V video stream into the H.264 web stream and transmit it over the wireless or wired network to remote playback devices, such as PCs, tablets, and smartphones. Other additions include double-rate and quad-rate demodulator, real-time lens distortion correction, multi-channel streaming support and IEEE-1588 time precision protocol implementation.
