CoaXPress frame grabber from KAYA Instruments compatible with high-speed camera from Vieworks

KAYA Instruments and Vieworks have announced that the the Komodo 8-channel CoaXPress Frame Grabber, KY-FGK-801 from KAYA Instruments is fully compatible with the VC-12MX2 8-channel CoaXPress high-speed CMOS Camera by Vieworks.

KAYA Instruments and Vieworkshave announced that the the Komodo 8-channel CoaXPress Frame Grabber, KY-FGK-801 from KAYA Instruments is fully compatible with the VC-12MX2 8-channel CoaXPress high-speed CMOS Camera by Vieworks.

The KY-FGK-801 Komodo 8-channel CoaXPress frame grabber is capable of receiving video streams from up to 8 CoaXPress links in single, dual, quad or octal modes. It is used for simultaneous capture from up to two quad link cameras, with each link supporting standard CoaXPress bit rates of up to 6.25 Gbps.

Vieworks’ VC-12MX2 camera features the 12 MPixel CMV12000 global shutter CMOS image sensor from CMOSIS (ams Sensors Belgium), which has a 5.5 µm pixel size and can reach speeds of up to 330 fps via CoaXPress interface.
