New software from IDS enables evaluation and set up of GigE Vision cameras

IDSVision Suite 1.0 offers full software support for evaluating and setting up GigE Vision cameras. It includes a graphical user interface, which can be used to test connected cameras quickly without programming a single line of code. Further, the software contains a range of tools that can be used for such things as automating the configuration of several cameras. The software also includes the Vision Cockpit, various command line tools, as well as the GenTL Producer. Vision Cockpit can be used for such tasks as querying and configuring the IP address of the connected cameras, while GenTL Producer enables access to the camera from the application itself or from any third-party program via the GenICam Interface, even if this software itself does not support the GigE Vision standard. Vision Suite is available for all 64-bit Windows and Linux operations systems and can be downloaded for free.
