Euresys acquires OEM imaging IP and hardware company Sensor to Image
Euresys has announced the acquisition of Sensor to image GmbH, a company specializing in OEM imaging IP and hardware for industrial vision products, including camerasand frame grabbers.
Marc Damhaut, CEO of Euresys, commented on the acquisition: "The purchase of Sensor to Image GmbH, based in Schongau, Germany, further increases Euresys' technological assets and development capabilities" he said. "Sensor to Image and Euresys are leaders of standard imaging hardware and software, we are happy to combine our forces."
As part of the deal, Sensor to Image will continue to operate under the same name, but is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Euresys.
"Our clients will continue to receive the same high level of service, which they have come to expect," remarked Werner Feith, founder of Sensor to Image, who will continue to lead the company following the acquisition.
