Designed for applications such as industrial embedded applications, the FireBird Camera Link 3U cPCI Serial frame grabber from Active Silicon is a Camera Link acquisition card in the embedded 3U cPCI Serial format. The frame grabber supports the latest v2.0 Camera Link interface, including both 80-bit modes (8-bit 10-tap and 10-bit 8-tap modes), at clock rates of up to 85 MHz. Additionally, the frame grabber—which has support for Power over Camera Link—is equipped with integrated hardware that watchdog monitors communication with the host, as well as multiple I/O options, GenICam compatibility, and Active Silicon’s PHX software development kit which provides example applications and runtime libraries for system development and integration.
