Cognex Corporation recently launched a new AI powered counting tool for its In-Sight SnAPP Vision Sensors.
The new software tool allows users of the In-Sight SnAPP Vision Sensor to automate such counting tasks such as assembly verification and quantity checks. The new tool helps enable manufacturers to accurately count part types, including objects of similar size, reflected and distorted parts, and objects of varying and contrasting characteristics and shapes. Designed for ease of use by operators of all skill levels, the tool utilizes image based training, guided set up and embedded AI and requires no extensive programming or training to set up and operate.
