MVTec Releases Latest MERLIC Machine Vision Software Update
MVTec GmbH has released its latest updated version of Merlic machine vision software, Merlic 5.7. This latest version features several new updates designed to enable easy integration and deployment. For example, configuring and running communication plug ins now only requires MERLIC Runtime Environment (RTE), rather than having to start and manage an additional process.
MERLIC Frontend is now available for Linux, which allows visualization of image processing results directly on Linux systems. This allows Frontend to run locally and on a dedicated Linux system as a remote frontend, allowing for greater flexibility inb system architecture,
MERLIC 5.7 now includes example Dockerfiles and scripts for creating custom containers, which enables a simpler set up process and easier integration of both Frontend and RTE into containerized workflows.
MERLIC 5.7, as previous versions of the software, does not require program coding, and is especially designed for integrators who have limited experience with image processing.
