Basler is releasing four models each in the new ace 2 Basic and ace 2 Pro camera lines. The new cameras feature the Sony IMX392 image sensor, 2.3 MPixel resolution, and GigE or USB 3.0 interfaces.
The four ace 2 Basic cameras offer 51 fps for the GigE model, and 160 fps for the USB 3.0 model.
The ace 2 Pro models compress image data directly in the camera's FPGA, in real time, to provide higher frame rates. Image data can be stored at full resolution in compressed form. Cameras in the ace 2 Pro line also feature an interpolation method to change pixel size, which allows users to scale resolutions.
