Featuring IP69K certification, LEDs, and a sealed, flush, virtually crevice-free surface, the BL245 UltraSeal Washdown Backlights from Advanced Illumination are corrosion-resistant and made with an aluminum housing and a proprietary nickel finish, both of which are FDA-compliant materials.
BL245 UltraSeal Washdown Backlights are 0.945” thick and available in multiple wavelengths and standard sizes. They do not need an additional enclosure and according to the manufacturer are ideal for applications that use corrosive washdown solutions and high-pressure steam cleaning operations.
Advanced Illumination says the company is developing additional products for its new UltraSeal line, that will focus on machine vision applications that require ultra-sealed and ultra-cleanable solutions.
