The new FS-3200D-10GE and FS-1600D-10GE prism cameras from Jai feature two-channel dichroic prisms that divide incoming light into visible spectrum (400 nm to 670 m) delivered to a Bayer color CMOS area scan sensor, and near infrared (740 nm to 1000 nm) delivered to a monochrome, NIR-sensitive CMOS area scan sensor. According to the manufacturer, this prism camera design eliminates the need for two separate camera/lighting setups required by certain types of multispectral imaging applications.

The FS-3200D-10GE model features color and monochrome versions of the Sony Pregius IMX252 image sensor, featuring 3.2 MPixel (2048 x 1536) resolution and maximum full frame rate of 123 fps for 8-bit output. The FS-1600D-10GE model features color and monochrome versions of the Sony Pregius IMX273 image sensor with 1.6 MPixel (1440 x 1080) resolution and maximum full frame rate of 226 fps for 8-bit output.

Both cameras feature 10GBASE-T interfaces that provide backwards compatibility to NBASE-T and 1000BASE-T output. The 10 GigE interface complies with the GigE Vision 2.0 standard and provides Bayer and NIR output streams on a single cable and supports the Precision Time Protocol (IEEE 1588).

The new FS-3200D-10GE and FS-1600D-10GE cameras also provide independently selectable 10-bit and 12-bit output for the Bayer color and NIR channels, and a 5x5 de-bayering algorithm can output 24-bit or 30-bit RGB.
