LUCID Vision Labs reveals 2K line scan camera

The camera is designed for optical inspection, material sorting & grading, character recognition, and pharmaceutical inspection applications.

LUCID has announced the Triton 2K line scan camera, to be shown at ITE 2019 (International Technical Exhibition on Image Technology and Equipment) in Yokohama, Japan from December 4 through December 6, 2019.

The Triton line scan camera features a 2K AMS Dragster DR-2k-7 monochrome image sensor with 7 µm pixel and offers 2048 x 1 resolution at a 60 kHz line rate. The camera offers an M12 Ethernet GPIO connector, Power over Ethernet (PoE), IP67 protection, and an operating temperature range of 0° C to 55° C. According to the manufacturer, the new camera is appropriate for optical inspection, material sorting & grading, character recognition, and pharmaceutical inspection applications.

LUCID will also show the Helios 3D time-of-flight and Atlas GigE Vision cameras at ITE 2019.

The Triton 2K line scan camera will be available Q4 2019.
