New FRAMOS sensor module features IMX530 image sensor and MIPI CSI-2 conversion
The FSM-IMX530 sensor module from FRAMOS incorporates the Sony IMX530 global shutter CMOS image sensor into a sensor module with SLVS and SLVS-EC interfaces. Up to 8 lanes of 5 Gbps each via the SLVS-EC interface makes possible a maximum 98 fps capture rate at 5320 x 4600 resolution. The 28 x 28 mm sensor module also features 2.74 µm pixel size and 74% quantum efficiency (QE).
The FRAMOS sensor adapter connects to the FSM-IMX530 and converts SLVS data to MIPI CSI-2. A 60-pin Hirose connector provides a direct link to Systems-on-Chip (SoCs). A FRAMOS software pack update on Jetpack 4.2 and Linux for Tegra (L4T) version 32.2 for the NVIDIA Jetson TX2 and AGX Xavier boards is included in sensor module development kits.
