USB3 cameras target disparate machine vision tasks
New models in the Lt Series of USB3 cameras offer fully-locked USB3 connectors for 24/7 use in machine vision systems. Thirteen new cameras based on rolling shutter STARVIS and global shutter CMOS sensors from Sony range in resolution from 2 to 12 MPixels with pixel sizes from 2 to 3.45 µm with backside-illuminated sensors.
Other features include an ROI option for higher frame rates, multiple data rate support - each optimized for lowest noise performance, USB3 Vision compliance, and 32- and 64-bit operating system compatibility for Windows, Linux, and Linux for embedded systems platforms and single board computers. Imaging applications include aerial imaging, Intelligent Traffic Systems, robotic inspection and life sciences.
