Edge computing camera line features integrated FPGA

March 26, 2021
EoSens Creation Series cameras are appropriate for image correction applications.

The EoSens Creation Series camera line features the Xilinx Kintex Ultrascale FPGA and 2 GB of DDRD memory and is designed for edge computing applications. The 2 MPixel 10GigE GenICam-compliant cameras can externally stream 10-bit images at 536 fps or internally stream 8-bit images at 2240 fps and offer 20V/Lux sensitivity at 550 nm wavelength.

An included SFP+ connection works with copper and fiber interfaces, to support long cable runs via Ethernet cabling. According to the manufacturer, the camera series is appropriate for edge compute functions such as defect pixel, gamma, and dynamic range correction and noise reduction, and is designed for multi-camera industrial automation systems.
