Teledyne DALSA has introduced the Linea™ Lite series of line scan cameras. Built for a wide range of machine vision applications, Linea Lite cameras feature a 45% smaller footprint than the original Linea cameras, support Power over Ethernet (PoE), and are based on the company’s proprietary CMOS image sensor design. The camera line offers 2 to 4k resolution and line rates from 12.5 to 50 kHz and operates at the 400- to 700-nm visible range, with a GigE Vision interface. The Linea Lite cameras let users combine short and long exposures to see details in bright and dark areas at the same time. Teledyne DALSA says the camera line is suited to applications such as automated optical inspection, sorting systems, materials grading and inspection, and general-purpose machine vision.
