Teledyne FLIR Integrated Imaging Solutions has released the Ladybug6, which is designed to capture 360° spherical images from moving platforms in all-weather conditions. It produces 72 MPixel images with pixel values that are spatially accurate within +/- mm at 10-meter distance. It captures, compresses, and transmits 8-bit or 12-bit pixel data. Other features include CMOS sensor, on-board image processing, out-of-the-box calibration, frame rates of up to 29.9 fps at 4 k resolution, 15 fps at 72 MPixel, operating temperature range of -30° C to 50° C, IP67-rated connectors, and support for global satellite navigation systems.
