Time-of-Flight 3D Camera

The camera's output includes a 3D point cloud, intensity image, and range and confidence maps.

Basler AG has released a new pulsed time-of-flight (ToF) camera with near-infrared operation at 850 nm. The camera is fitted with Sony's IMX556-DepthSense™ sensor, which provides 2D and 3D data in one shot, consisting of distance, intensity, and confidence maps. Other features include IP67 rating, 67° x 51° FoV, working distance from 0.3 to 10 m, real-time streaming, integrated light source (VCSEL laser diodes) and lens, GigE Vision compliant, and dual exposure HDR. Basler says the camera is suited to 3D automation applications in warehouses and factories.
