Vision Research has introduced the Phantom T4040 camera with a 4.2 MPixel CMOS sensor, which is backlit, maximizing light sensitivity. With a 9.27-µm pixel size, the camera is suited to subjects requiring high magnification. Other specifications for the camera include: maximum frame rate at full resolution of 9,350 fps, maximum frame rate at reduced resolution of 444,400 fps, SDI and HDMI video outputs, standard and binning modes, weight of 9.4 lbs (4.3 kg), and up to 256 GB of memory.
