THine Solutions, Inc. has launched a new PDAF camera kit to its THEIA-CAM line, the THSCP101. The new camera kit, which comes with camera board, adapter card, and flat flexible cable, is especially designed to be used with Ologic’s Pumpkin i350 and i500 Evaluation Kits, which are are powered by MediaTek Genio 350 and Genio 500 Systems on Chips (SoCs) that provide edge processing platforms for AI + IoT systems. The kit is based on THine’s THP7312-P ISP and Sony’s IMX258 13 MPixel CMOS PDAF image sensor and has an available software driver for streaming and controlling images. It is capable of various high resolution options up to 13 MPixel at 20 fps, all in YUV422 format. Like all the THEIA-CAM models, the THSCP101 is designed for a variety of machine vision camera applications, including AI and IoT devices, AR Glasses, and barcode reading devices.
