Basler Announces New Light Controller

Controller designed to integrate with most vision systems.

Basler recently launched a new light source controller for machine vision applications, the SLP Strobe Controller 121040. The device can operate in continuous, strobe, and overdrive lighting modes. It has one channel that can daisy chain up to four devices. It is designed to integrate not only Basler standard lights, but any other light source, using a Basler camera and pylon software, which is available for Windows, Linux x86, Linux ARM, MacOS, and Android. It has maximum output power of 40 W in continuous mode and 400 W in overdrive mode. It has a 10 μs pulse step size and a maximum frequency of 200 Hz.
