Allied Vision has launched a new board level camera, the Alvium G-1 (BL). The camera, equipped with GigE Vision interface, is especially designed for applications and situations in which the position of the GigE and I/O connector are different from standard Alvium G-1 cameras. Instead, the sensor and interface can be connected with a flex cable for position and placement in systems with limited space. The camera offers C-Mount, CS-Mount, S-Mount, or no mount options. It has resolution of up to 24.6 Mpixels and offers CMOS global and rolling shutter sensor options from OnSemi and Sony. It can achieve a framerate of up to 276 fps. It currently works in monochrome and color image colors. Its closed housing option has a footprint of 41 x 29 x 29 mm, and can operate in temperatures from -20° - 55°C. The camera is designed for a variety of machine vision functions including automated inspection applications.
