Vision system covers noncontact applications

As a noncontact, optical, stand-alone monitoring device, the Vision Gauge System runs in production control systems and measures materials up to 1 in. thick. Measurements include width, diameter, edge or gap gauge, or either opaque or transparent materials. Position or thickness can be monitored to 0.0002 in. as the material flows through the Vision Gauge Scanning System. Featuring a 5000-pixel linear CCD image sensor, the system contains optics and light source in a single package. An Opti-Monitor controller provides numeric and bar-graph LED monitoring for fast information access. An internal keypad and LCD display accommodates system setup and monitoring.
