Edmund Optics has announced that customers in China now have direct access to more than 1,600 laser optics products from the company’s inventory of stock optics ready for immediate delivery. Additionally, custom design and manufacturing is now being offered for the first time, in order to meet increasing customer needs.
Timothy Paul Kennedy, Sales Director, Asia, commented on the news.
"Our high quality, high precision optics meet the performance requirements of China's growing laser market since they are designed and manufactured to the most rigorous specifications, thereby ensuring repeatability in the most demanding applications," he said.
Products now available for purchase in China include the TECHSPEC high-power High Power Nd:YAG Laser Mirrors and TECHSPEC Variable Beam Expanders. The laser mirrors feature , all-dielectric Ion Beam Sputtered (IBS) coatings to deliver high damage thresholds and up to 99% reflectivity for demanding applications beam delivery and laser beam steering, while the variable beam expanders offer continuous magnification for laser applications like prototyping or research and development, which may require magnification changes.
