The USB 3.0 active cable from COMOSS is able to achieve data throughputs of 5 Gbps at up to 15 meters at 5v/900mA. The self-powered active cable features a USB 3.0 cable lock mechanism, enabling it to provide a reliable long distance USB 3.0 connection. Additionally, COMOSS has developed a USB 3.0 active cable for low power consumption (4.55V/450mA), as well as a USB 3.0 active optical cable, which extends up to 100 meters with 850 nm laser optical transmission technology.
