Infrared technology company Xenics has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with US distributor Imaging Tech Solutions (ITS) for select western states, the first distribution contract of record signed in North America.
The partnership between Xenics and ITS was formed in order to add commercial value to customers through one unified sales and service channel, according to Xenics, which is looking to broadening its position in the North American market.
"Don and his team at Imaging Tech Solutions are the ideal choice for Xenics in our expansion of the North American market," said Hervé Copin, Xenics USA, CEO. "We could not be happier with our recent partnership with ITS, and look forward to a promising future together."
ITS will actively distribute the entire Xenics product line, but will focus on the newly-developed MWIR XCO module, the new low SWIR Bobcat, and the SWIR Cheetah lines, along with the many options in LWIR.
"Xenics is the perfect choice because of their wide range of infrared imaging products, advanced technologies and very competitive price models," said Don Stafford, ITS President (pictured above with Copin). "We are very excited to partner with a leading European manufacturer such as Xenics that is very close to us and to our customers."
The appointment of Copin as CEO of Xenics USA was part of aseries of recent moves made by Xenics aimed at future growth by placing a stronger focus of North and Latin America. After serving for more than two years as European Sales Manager and increasing the reach of Xenics' distribution network across Western and Eastern Europe, Copin is now tasked with further broadening Xenics' competitive positions throughout North and Latin America, extending the sales channels in both areas.
