Line scan camera from Teledyne DALSA features 16k CMOS image sensor

Featuring a 16384 x 1 (16K) CMOS image sensor, Teledyne DALSA’s new 16k Linea line scan camera targets such machine vision applications printed circuit board inspection, flat panel display color filter inspection, food and web inspection, and pharmaceutical inspection. The Linea 16k camera features a 3.5 µm pixel size and acquires images at line rates of up to 48 kHz. The monochrome camera supports Camera Link base medium, full, and deca output format and features multiple user coefficient and FFC calibration sets, independent regions of interest, and support of Camera Link cables up to 10 meters. Additionally, the camera has GeniCam and ASCII-compliant interfacing.
