Eye Vision Technology (EVT) has announced the release of the BrainLight QC, an LED backlight designed for industrial use that features 48 full-color LEDs arranged in a tight grid. The LEDs of the backlight illuminate in red, green, blue, and white, and a diffuser plate in front of the LEDs enables the light to spread evenly over an object. The 30 x 40 mm BrainLight QC has an input voltage of +24V and is modularly expandable, allowing users to add additional rows of LEDs. In addition, the LEDs within the grid can be switched on/off by row, and light sequences can be programmed to meet the need for particular machine vision applications.
