At SPIE DSS 2015, InfraTec will showcase its ImageIR infrared cameras, the 8300 and 9300 Z cameras, which are suitable for use in surveillance, reconnaissance, environmental monitoring, and coastal protection. The cameras are equipped with 640 x 512 (8300) or 1280 x 1024 (9300) pixel Stirling-cooled Indium Antimonide (InSb) detectors a with 15 µm pixel size. The cameras also feature GigE Vision, RS232, and USB 2.0 interfaces, and have a spectral range of 3.7 µm - 4.8 µm. In addition, the cameras have a 30X motorized zoom lens, a detection range of nearly 10 miles (15 km) for people, and more than 11 miles (18 km) for vehicles.
