Expanding on its line of Go Series of industrial cameras, JAI has announced the release of the GO-2400-PGE, a small, lightweight camera designed for machine vision and factory automation environments. The camera is equipped with Sony’s IMX174 CMOS image sensor, a 2.35 MPixel sensor with a 5.86 µm pixel size that runs at 48.8 fps over a GigE Vision interface. Two GO-2400-PGE models are available: the GO-2400M-PGE with 8, 10, or 12-bit monochrome output (including near-infrared sensitivity), and the GO-2400C-PGE offering 8, 10, or 12-bit raw Bayer color output. The GO-2400-PGE cameras feature automatic level control for dynamic lighting conditions, region of interest mode, exposure control from 38 µs to 8 seconds in 1 µs steps, and 2X binning for increased sensitivity (monochrome only.)
