Latest cameras from FLIR Integrated Imaging Solutions showcased live at VISION 2016

At VISION 2016, Paul Kozik, Product Line Manager, Machine Vision for FLIR Integrated Imaging Solutions Inc., formerly Point Grey Research Inc., talked about his company’s cameras and how they "empower their customers’ innovations." At the show, the company unveiled a new 10 GigE camera, the Oryx, which was in a high-speed edge detection demonstration. The GigE Vision-compliant Oryx line will feature some of the latest CMOS image sensors from Sony. Kozik also talked about the Blackfly S line of GigE Vision and USB3 Vision cameras, which are available with the new Spinnaker software development kit. He then described the Surround 360 demonstration, which is something Facebook developed using Grasshopper3 cameras. Surround 360 is a virtual reality platform with open-source stitching software that was released by Facebook.
