USB 3.0 microscope camera line from Jenoptik completed
With the launch of the PROGRES GRYPHAX KAPELLA, RIGEL, and PROKYON cameras, Jenoptikhas completed its USB 3.0 microscope cameras. The KAPELLA and RIGEL cameras are color and monochrome versions, respectively, of the same camera, which features a back-illuminated 2.3 MPixel Sony CMOS image sensor with a 5.86 µm pixel size and can achieve a frame rate of 60 fps. The PROKYON camera features an image sensor with the same specifications as the KAPELLA and RIGEL, but is able to produce images with resolutions from 2.3 to 20.7 MPixels. All three USB 3.0 cameras feature 12 bit A/D conversion, a dynamic range of 73.3 dB, and are equipped with an Intel Quad Core processor with 8 GB RAM.
