New to the line ofPiranha XL multi-line color CMOS TDI cameras are four new models: An 8k 70 kHz model, and three 16k models in 40 kHz, 60 kHz, and 70 kHz. The cameras feature multi-line scan color CMOS TDI (Time Delay and Integration) technology that delivers high sensitivity for color imaging using 4 rows per RGB channel for 12 rows in total. Data throughput is greater than 3 Gbytes/s on a single CX4 cable, and combined with the company’s Xtium Camera Link HS frame grabber, system designers can reach line rates of up to 210 kHz (70 kHz x 3) in full color mode in either 8k or 16k resolution. Additionally, the cameras feature built-in Trigger to Image Reliability, which provides monitoring, diagnostics, track and trace, and buffers to prevent data loss.
