Point Grey to showcase 10 GigE and 20 MPixel CMOS cameras at VISION 2016

Among the various imaging solutions that Point Grey will showcase at VISION 2016 in Stuttgart are a new family of 10 GigE cameras and a new 20 MPixel camera that measures just 29 x 29 x 30 mm.

Among the various imaging solutions thatPoint Grey will showcase at VISION 2016 in Stuttgart are a new family of 10 GigE cameras and a new 20 MPixel camera that measures just 29 x 29 x 30 mm. The new 10 GigE cameras will feature the latest global shutter CMOS sensors, including the first model, which will be equipped with the 12.3 MPixel Sony Pregius IMX253, which supports 4K60 Ultra HD video. The 20 MPixel Blackfly S camera, meanwhile, will feature the Sony Exmor R IMX183 CMOS sensor, making it Point Grey’s highest resolution camera to date. Point Grey, which will offer its demonstrations under the theme of “Empowering Your Innovation,” will also showcase its Spinnaker software development kit, which is based on the GenICam3 reference API, as well as Grasshopper3 camera models, new 3D stereo vision technology, and the company’s latest 360° spherical vision camera.
