Longwave infrared lenses target OEM and surveillance imaging applications

Targeting OEM and security/surveillance imaging applications, Tamron’s LWIR zoom lenses are available with in zoom range models with diamond-like carbon (DLC) coatings in either 35-105 mm or 50-150 mm, and one zoom range model with an anti-reflective coating (30-105 mm). 

Targeting OEM and security/surveillance imaging applications, Tamron’s LWIR zoom lenses are available with in zoom range models with diamond-like carbon (DLC) coatings in either 35-105 mm or 50-150 mm, and one zoom range model with an anti-reflective coating (30-105 mm). The lenses operate in the 8-14 µm spectral range, feature a standard M34 x 0.5 mmthread mount, and can be used with most microbolometer cameras. Tamron recently selected Sierra-Olympic Technologies as its stocking distributor for the LWIR zoom lenses.
