Last call: Help us identify the future of the industrial camera market
Vision Systems Design has once again partnered with FRAMOS for its annual survey on industrial cameras in order to determine where end users and manufacturers think the technology and market is heading into the future.
The short survey asks end users of industrial cameras their opinion on various topics, including:
- Brand of camera and sensor
- Sensor size and type
- Interface preference
- CCD vs. CMOS
- How systems were implemented and for what applications
In addition, it asks users to take a look at the future, and predict which interface choice will be most popular in two years. (See an analysis from last year’s survey here).
For manufacturers, questions are asked about where cameras were made and sold who is buying, and how they are being used. The survey also asks the manufacturers about the sensor type, pixel size, frame rate, and interface type. Additionally, it also asks the manufacturers about which interface choice will be most popular in two years, which will make for an interesting compare and contrast with the results from the users.
Participants will receive an early copy of the statistical results in order to support strategic decision-making processes. An analysis of the results will be published in the November issue of Vision Systems Design. Furthermore, participants will be entered to win attendance in an Imaging Experts Academy training session, as well as 10 Amazon gift cards.
The survey, which is completely anonymous, will be open until September 2.
Take the industrial camera survey.
